A way of life – Melbourne Bikefest
It’s a new festival on the Melbourne calendar, celebrating bikes as part of everyday life.
Bikefest places bikes at the centre of life in the city. There’s a whole heap of events addressing all things bike related – health, sustainability, design, safety, planning, and culture.
The Melbourne Bikefest aims to improve conditions for bike riders on the road by raising awareness of cycling; as a high status, desirable and enjoyable activity.
As an every day cyclist, I’m stoked to be part of the dedicated festival committee, headed by Pip Carroll of Ambiguous Horse – Management Agency.
